Our Story
Chi Boards began as a personal hobby with mechanical keyboards while I was based in Saudi Arabia—a way to explore the craft, the sound, and the details that make every build feel unique. When I returned to the Philippines to continue college, the hobby was put on hold.
Eventually, it came back—this time with a bigger purpose.
In 2023, Chi Boards was established as a Facebook store, starting small and serving fellow enthusiasts, especially within the Davao keyboard community. What began with curated mechanical keyboard sets grew through community support and shared passion.
By mid-2024, Chi Boards expanded into switches, followed by keycaps later that year—giving builders more ways to personalize their setups. Alongside this growth, the brand evolved through three website iterations, with the current one being the most advanced and community-driven yet.
